International Yoga Day 2018

Yoga heals our mind, body and soul and hence, it won’t be wrong to say that this healthy practice helps to maintain sanity in our day to day life.

Yoga One Of The Most Powerful Unifying Forces,

Yoga is a group of physical, mental, and spiritual practices or disciplines which originated in ancient India. There is a broad variety of yoga schools, practices, and goals in Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism.

The way to lead a calm, creative & content life is Yoga. It can show the way in defeating tensions and mindless anxiety. Instead of dividing, Yoga unites. Instead of further animosity, Yoga assimilates. Instead of increasing suffering, Yoga heals.

“Sun salutations can energize and warm you,

Even on the darkest,

Coldest winter day.

Happy International Day of Yoga!”

"You cannot do yoga. Yoga is your natural state. What you can do are yoga exercises, which may reveal to you where you are resisting your natural state." — Sharon Gannon

International Day of Yoga is celebrated every year on 21
st
June. All credit goes to Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who proposed International Day of Yoga. On December 11
th
, 2014, the United Nations declared June 21
st
June as the International Day of Yoga, which is now celebrated by different nations.

Yoga is like music

The rhythm of the body,

The melody of the mind and

Harmony of the soul that creates the symphony of life.

Have a good and healthy World Yoga Day

"Yoga is not about touching your toes.

It’s about unlocking your ideas about what You want,

Where you think, you can go,

And how will you achieve

When you get there."

Happy Yoga Day 2018

‘Yoga means addition, addition of energy,

Strength and beauty to body, mind and soul...’

“When this body has been so magnificently and artistically created by God, it is only fitting that we should maintain it in good health and harmony by the most excellent and artistic science of Yoga.” Happy International Yoga Day!

"Yoga does not remove us from the reality or responsibilities of everyday life but rather places our feet firmly and resolutely in the practical ground of experience. We don't transcend our lives; we return to the life we left behind in the hopes of something better."

"Yoga is the fountain of youth. You're only as young as your spine is flexible."

“The ultimate goal of yoga is to always observe things accurately, and therefore never act in a way that will make us regret our actions later.”

“Yoga teaches us to cure what need not be endured and endure what cannot be cured.”

“Yoga calms me down. It’s a therapy session, a workout, and meditation all at the same time!”

“To perform every action artfully is yoga.”

Any posture in yoga helps you gain flexibility in the body, that reduces rigidity in the mind thereby being open to and accepting of flow of life.

The number of people who do yoga around the world has been growing steadily in the last 40 years. People in more than 180 countries will do the breathing and movement exercise on this year’s International Yoga Day. It is officially observed on June 21, the longest day of the year. Yoga has also been praised for improving balance, lowering blood pressure, increasing flexibility, and providing a sense of calm.

"Yoga is a sport that can contribute to development and peace. Yoga can even help people in emergency situations to find relief from stress.”
