Music brings the world closer. Not just words, there are notes, songs, and tunes to express every emotion. To mark its significance, music lovers all across the globe get together to celebrate World Music Day on June 21 every year. 

Various musicians perform for free and showcase the power of music on this day. Aspiring singers and young players mesmerise listeners by playing their instruments in public or recreational areas. It has slowly become a part of pop culture and this day is celebrated in more than 32 countries as one of the most important summer events.

Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything.Music is a language that doesn’t speak in particular words. It speaks in emotions, and if it’s in the bones, it’s in the bones.
One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain.If music be the food of love, play on, Give me excess of it; that surfeiting, The appetite may sicken, and so die. A man should hear a little music, read a little poetry, and see a fine picture every day of his life, in order that worldly cares may not obliterate the sense of the beautiful which God has implanted in the human soul.

Music touches us emotionally, where words alone can’t.I like beautiful melodies telling me terrible things. Live your truth. Express your love. Share your enthusiasm. Take action towards your dreams. Walk your talk. Dance and sing to your music. Embrace your blessings. Make today worth remembering. Information is not knowledge. Knowledge is not wisdom. Wisdom is not truth. Truth is not beauty. Beauty is not love. Love is not music. Music is THE BEST. 

Music makes one feel so romantic – at least it always gets on one’s nerves – which is the same thing nowadays. Without music to decorate it, time is just a bunch of boring production deadlines or dates by which bills must be paid.  Music is the great uniter. An incredible force. Something that people who differ on everything and anything else can have in common.

The man that hath no music in himself, Nor is not moved with concord of sweet sounds, Is fit for treasons, stratagems, and spoils; The motions of his spirit are dull as night, And his affections dark as Erebus. Let no such man be trusted. Mark the music. 

There is nothing more to be said or to be done tonight, so hand me over my violin and let us try to forget for half an hour the miserable weather and the still more miserable ways of our fellowmen.
